The Prelude Op. 28 No. 4 was composed by Frédéric Chopin and it is one of his 24 preludes. We know that this beautiful piece was played at his own funeral according to Chopin’s request. The prelude was called also “Suffocation” by Hans von Bülow for its sense of despair. In fact, last dynamic marking is smorzando, which means “dying away”.

Available soon in my new album!
